ETHICAL STANDARDS: Sara Brunner, RD, is a member in good standing with The College of Dietitians of Ontario, abides by their codes of ethics and is accountable to their governing body for ethical and professional standards. You may ask to see these codes at any time. Should you feel that an ethical violation has occurred through which you have experienced some measure of harm, you have a right to register a complaint with the Ethics Committee of the College of Dietitians of Ontario

RECORDS:  Record keeping practices are for clients who have provided their practitioner with their personal health data.  ULD customers are not entering a dietitian-patient relationship, and they are not providing their personal health information for the purpose of nutrition assessment and intervention from Sara Brunner, RD. Sara is acting as your guide in the ULD program, not your dietitian.The personal contact information that you provide when you purchased the program will not be shared.  Any communications you send to your program guide, Sara Brunner, will not be shared outside of the context of the group within the ULD community.  Office hour questions are answered in group settings. You can choose to submit your question in office hours anonymously. Sara is your guide in this program, please be clear that Sara will not be collecting any personal health information from participants. To protect your privacy, please do not share any private health details with Sara via email or google documents. Sara’s role is to provide support and guidance on the program's resources and strategies, but this does not include conducting individual assessments or collecting identifiable health information.This program offers group education and tools to help you implement healthy practices effectively. During office hours, Sara is available to answer questions and clarify any aspects of the program content. It is important to note that individual nutrition assessments are not part of this program. Any guidance provided will focus on the collective needs of the group, not personalized health evaluations and interventions.

CONFIDENTIALITY: Everything that is said via email or in the context of the conversations between service provider and client is kept confidential. There may be times when consultations may be made with another therapist or health professional. This is similar to a physician getting a “second opinion” and can be very helpful. If consultation does occur, identifying information such as your name will not be disclosed.

YOUR RIGHTS:  As a client you have the right: 1. To ask questions at any point in time regarding program procedures and processes. 2. To complain to the Privacy Commissioner of Canada If you are not satisfied with the Privacy Policy in place.

REFUND POLICY:  We stand behind the ULD program, including our training, technology, and support. Every day, our team is dedicated to making your life easier because we believe in the effectiveness of our strategies and systems. We know how powerful food and nutrition can be—but your success ultimately depends on your commitment to the process.The ULD framework is designed to provide relief, but for some, due to severity of illness, it could take longer. You may also find that staying in phases 2 and 3 of the Program help you further refine and maximize your results. That is why you have one full year of access to the entire learning library, including any new content and revisions to older content. Due to the immediate access to the ULD and downloadable materials, we cannot offer a full refund. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, please reach out to our team. We are committed to addressing your concerns and ensuring you have a positive experience.The ULD program is eligible for a refund within the first 30 days of enrollment. Refunds will be processed at your purchase price minus a $200 administrative fee.

PROGRAM LENGTH AND FEES: Access to the private community and ULD Member Library is for a period of one (1) year, unless an extended membership term has been explicitly provided as part of your enrolment. Program fees are due either in full or through instalments based on the selected payment plan. All payments must be made by credit card, and you authorize recurring billing according to your chosen plan until the total fee is paid.

CONSENT: By agreeing to these Terms of Service, I confirm that I have read, understood, and accepted the terms outlined above. I acknowledge that if I had any questions, Sara Brunner has satisfactorily addressed them via email before enrolling. I understand that I am free to discontinue my participation in the program at any time. However, I recognize that terminating my participation more than thirty (30) days after the purchase date disqualifies me from receiving any partial refund, as specified in the refund policy. By selecting the checkbox on the order page, I consent to participate in the Universal Lyme Diet Program under the guidance of Sara Brunner, Lyme Nutrition Coach. I will retain a copy of these terms for my personal records.
